Steven W. Ledbetter, President
Steven W. Ledbetter hung a shingle in Venice, Florida in 2007. His practice focuses in the areas of trust and estate planning, probate, and real property and corporate law from his office on the Island of Venice. In addition to being very involved in several local bar committees and divisions, he currently serves on the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of Manasota, Inc. (a local pro bono legal services organization with offices in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice), the South County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, and as Secretary for Board of Venice MainStreet, Inc.
Mr. Ledbetter received his Juris Doctor in 2001 from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. After law school, Mr. Ledbetter was an associate attorney for several years at a small, boutique law firm in Dallas, TX, where his practice focused on lending law, real property, and secured transactions. In 2007, a move closer to family brought them to Venice, where he and his family are enjoying all that Sarasota County has to offer.
